Getting started
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Forge Free gives you a real booking page with one active event type and one synced calendar. Your pages carry a small Forge badge. See Plans and billing.
Do I need a card for the trial?
No. Every new account gets 14 days of everything the paid plans include, with no card. When it ends you move to Free. You are not locked out, and your booking pages stay live.
Can I bring my clients over from another tool?
Yes. Move in reads exports from Calendly, Acuity, HoneyBook, Dubsado and Bloom, and any spreadsheet. Clients, leads and their history come across. Past appointments are kept as notes, not added to your calendar. See Moving in from another tool.
Is there a mobile app?
There is no app in the App Store or Google Play today. Forge works in your phone's browser, and you can add it to your Home Screen. See Get the app.
Calendars and bookings
Which calendars does Forge work with?
Google Calendar, Microsoft 365 and Outlook, and iCloud or any other CalDAV calendar. See Connecting your calendars.
Why does my booking page show no times?
The usual causes are no working hours switched on, a paused event type, a full calendar, or a connected calendar that needs reconnecting. Availability has a checklist.
What time do bookers see?
Their own. Times on your booking page are shown in the booker's timezone, in their own 12-hour or 24-hour style. You set your hours in your timezone.
Can clients reschedule or cancel on their own?
Yes, until the session starts. Their confirmation page and email carry Reschedule and Cancel booking links. You are emailed when they do.
Can I change my booking link?
Yes, in Settings → Profile. Any link you have already shared stops working when you change it, so do it early.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on a paid plan. It has to be a subdomain, such as book.yourstudio.com. See Custom domains.
Money
How do I get paid?
Connect Stripe in Settings → Payments. You can then take a deposit or full payment when someone books, and send invoices clients pay by card. Payments go to your own Stripe account. See Invoices and deposits.
What happens to a deposit if the client cancels?
A deposit is not refunded when the client cancels. If you cancel, it is refunded in full.
Does Forge add VAT to my invoices?
Only if you tell it you are VAT registered, in Settings → Payments. It is off by default.
Can I cancel my plan whenever I like?
Yes, in Settings → Plan & billing, with no email or call. You keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for, then move to Free. Nothing is deleted.
AI
Will Forge's AI email my clients without asking me?
No. Everything it writes for a client is a draft. Nothing is sent until you have read it and pressed Send. See AI drafts.
Does the AI read my calendar?
No. Events synced from your connected calendars are never sent to AI. See What Forge's AI does, and what it never sees.
Can I use Forge without the AI?
Yes. Every kind of draft is off until you switch it on. The AI page explains what else uses AI and how to turn it off.
Your account
How do I delete my account?
In Settings → Profile, under Delete your account. It is immediate and can't be undone. See Security and privacy.
How do I contact you?
Email support@forge.page. See Get support.
