# Reviews

> Ask clients how it went, read what they say in private, and choose what to publish.

After a session, Forge can ask your client how it went. You read every review first. Nothing is public until you publish it.

## Turn review requests on

Review requests are off until you switch them on.

1. Open **Settings → Notifications**.
2. Switch on **Review request**.
3. Save.

From then on, each booker gets one email about a day after their session ends, asking how it went. It is not sent for bookings that were cancelled or rescheduled.

## What your client fills in

The form is short, and they can send it once.

- **Overall**: one to five stars. This is the only part they must fill in.
- **Communication**, **Expertise** and **Value**: optional star ratings.
- **Your words**: what they would say about working with you.
- **Name to show**: how their name should appear. Initials are fine.
- A tick box that says you may publish it with that name.
- **Between you two**: a private note that only you read. It is never published.

## Read and publish

Open **Reviews**. New ones wait under **Waiting on you**.

1. Read it.
2. Choose **Publish** to put it on your page.
3. To remove it later, choose **Take down**.

You can only publish a review when the client ticked the box to allow it and wrote some words. If they asked you not to publish, or left only a rating and a private note, Forge tells you why it can't go public. Private notes can never be published.

## Reply to a review

Choose **Reply to this**, write your reply, and choose **Post reply**. It is shown under their words. You can edit or remove it.

## Where published reviews appear

Published reviews show on your public page, at forge.page/your-link, under **What people say**.

## Requests that have not been answered

**No reply yet** lists the clients who were asked and have not responded.
